We've all heard the saying "Work Smarter, Not Harder." The problem is that we have a tendency to make things more complicated than they need to be. Often our excuse is nothing more than "Well, that's just the way we've always done it!"
Here's the issue: When it comes to marketing our businesses, most of us are not only wasting time, but we're wasting MONEY.
Take a look at this infographic (have we mentioned that we LOVE infographics?!) comparing Traditional Media (television, billboards, radio, yellowpages, newspaper) to New Media (internet, smartphones, etc.).

Let's take a minute and ponder that last point. "By spending only a couple hundred dollars, you could repeatedly reach the 232.7 million daily internet users in America (that's roughly 75% of all Americans) who spend over 2 hours a day on average browsing the web."
What basket are you putting your eggs in? Are you spending MORE MONEY to reach LESS PEOPLE?
People, let's work smarter, not harder. Let's spend less money and speak to a broader audience.
