You're trying to check movie times using your phone and the theater's website hasn't been optimized for smartphone usage. Translation: It's appearing on your phone exactly how it would appear on your computer monitor. Problem is: You're not using a computer monitor. You're using a tiny little smartphone. It looks different. You're having to zoom in on everything and scroll to the right for what feels like 2 miles.
The fact of the matter is, enough people are using smartphones now that we should be making darn sure that our websites look great on mobile phones.

According to an article from Search Engine Watch, Google Android has skyrocketed past iPhone and has 48% of the global market share. iPhone is no longer the smart phone king. We shouldn't be customizing our smartphone pages and apps for iPhone alone. If you have an app for iPhone, you MUST have an app for Android.
Additionally, Google has now reported that Local searches account for 40% of Google searches from Smartphones. People in your community are searching for you when they're on the go.
