Immerse, Inc. or Immerseme was founded in 2001 by friends, Aubrey Prince and Crull Chambless who served together in a leadership capacity within their local church. Both Aubrey and Crull expressed to one another the desire to help the local church be more effective in its mission, specifically through the use of technology.
What began as an idea for a faith-based web portal, soon transformed into building separate ministry tools that could plug into an existing Church website and increase it's value as a communication tool for the church. As we developed our first products, clients continued to express additional needs leading us to broaden our services to meet those desires.
Through solid client relationships built on trust, Immerseme has developed products from the original locally based Christian Business Directory, Useabeliever.com and the Immerseme Church Membership Directory to a full compliment of web design, content management software and accompanying tools, all focused on helping our clients better communicate with their membership and prospects.
With the launch of our latest version of ImmerseEdit Content Management (the third major revision), Immerseme began expanding our services from working exclusively with ministries to small and medium sized businesses as well. Whether our client's needs are top-tier web design and content management, to Search Engine Optimization, or a need to better connect with their audience through membership directories, e-newsletter campaigns, or branding identity, Immerseme is committed to exceeding our client expectations with integrity, trust, and principles of a Christian Worldview.
Our Statement of Faith is the foundation for our business and expresses the Kingdom approach we take in working relationships. Immerseme is successful in our mission when we can help you answer your calling from God.
The meaning behind "Immerseme"
The concept of Immerseme comes from the idea that we don’t live out our lives in a vacuum where outside influences don't have an effect. In fact it’s just the opposite. Whatever we choose to fill our lives with, is the worldview we will promote or simply put: Garbage in; garbage out. We must immerse ourselves in that which we value.
As Christians we are under constant attacks to disrupt, distract and derail our witness for Christ. We are open vessels waiting to be filled. If we are not daily filling ourselves up with Godly things there’s no choice but to take on the offerings of the world. That’s why we should strive to immerse our lives in the things that please Him.
